Craig Glazier was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma in his neck in the March of 2011. After a surgery and some chemotherapy and radiation, he had won that battle.
In August of 2014, after months of back pain and a diagnosed “herniated disc”, they got the heart breaking news that the cancer was back and this time, not curable, only treatable. The cancer was back and a more prominent than ever, now in his bones, spine, pelvis, hips, right arm, rib cage, shoulder, and collarbone.
Craig immediately started treatments to keep the cancer at bay. Then, in May 2015, it was discovered that he had a tumor in his brain. That tumor was operated on and removed.
Craig's amazing cancer fighting team decided that his cancer might be resistant to the chemotherapy. They have submitted him for the opportunity to go to a select few clinical trial sites to receive something called Immunotherapy. This type of treatment is essentially superpowers for the immune system.
Craig has not yet been accepted to the trial. However, if he is, the cost will be extensive. And, even if he is not accepted, the cost of cancer has taken a toll on the family.
The family cannot express enough gratitude for all the help that has already been given to them and huge thanks for the help that they will continue to receive.
