Help Simba

On April 23rd our 8 year old daughters cat Simba went missing, we searched exclusively and offered a reward for his return. After 3.5 weeks we came to believe Simba was gone, we were deeply saddened; especially our daughter as she raised Simba from the time he was born out at her dads house. On May 21st we were notified that Simba had been dropped off at the Salmon Arm vets seriously injured. Comffermed by that tattoo in his ear.
Simba was found on the highway over 10km from his home. He had damadge to his eye, has a dislocated hip, and has lost a considerable amount of weight. He required surgery to remove his eye and fix his hip, we are now creating him to prevent infection and recovery of his hip. He is considered high risk of his hip popping back out and further surgery.
We suspect someone took or trapped him and released him in the woods or tossed him from the vehicle. It is highly unlikely that he went the 1.4 km across a bridge and on the highway to where he was found.
We are so happy to have our boy home. We would be deeply grateful for any help with Simbas veterinary bills.
