Hi, my name is Jared howe. I would like to tell you a little bit about me and my family

I have a wife named Christina and a beautiful daughter named Amora she is 14 months.
We have a little dog named Pearl, she’s quite the goofy dog for a rescue.

I was just diagnosed with Cancer 20 days ago stage 2B melanoma, they are going to be doing Wide excision surgery to remove the melanoma with a  sentinel lymph node biopsy. The biopsy is to see if I have stage 3 or 4 ! 

When I heard it was melanoma I thought it was going to be easy, but the doctor told me different. The doctor gave me a lot of information about it, I didn’t know that 10-year survival rates are 67 percent for stage 2A and 57 percent for stage 2B, according to the American Cancer Society.
The recurrence rate for stage 2 is about 95% though it does depend on age and health.

My surgery will be on the 28th of September and it’s very risky, the melanoma tumor is attached to my spine between my c6 and c7 vertebra. 
I am also allergic to Anesthetic as well.  If the surgery goes according to the plan of the Surgeons
Say the recovery time is around 1 month just for the surgery, we will know if it is stage 3 or 4 a few days after the surgery. 


I need help with medical bills that are slowly piling up and help with house hold bills that I won’t be able to cover while i am recovering. I am the sole provider for my family, it’s hard working full time with being drained physically and emotionally.
