Giving Time at CARE: New Tigers

Giving Time at CARE
If you have not heard already, CARE welcomed four new family members this past week. The young tigers, Divali, Nadal, Naya, and Shaanti, came from a facility in Florida that was unable to keep up with their care and we were overjoyed to be able to provide them with a forever home. They are settling in extremely well and you can read their full story HERE and watch videos of their very first steps at CARE!
Because we were asked to take them so quickly, and with lots of preparations to be made in only a few days, we did not have time to setup a fundraiser for all the things we would need for the newcomers. So, with this recent rescue under our belt, CARE has started a holiday fund to make sure they, and the other cats, have what they need.
We have been running low on Safari (or Boomer) balls lately, and with the new tigers’ arrival, we had to borrow a few from other cats to make sure they had some toys to play with in their new home. These balls are not inexpensive, but are one of the staples of animal enrichment.
Additionally, we will need to provide some initial veterinary care for the new girls and boys to make sure they are in tip-top shape. That includes a check-up, vaccines, deworming, supplements, and a few other necessities.
Instead of asking individuals to donate the full amount of these items, we are asking all of our supporters to please chip in to cover the initial costs of this rescue. They deserve the best, and we aim to give it to them!
Please donate what you can this holiday, receive a 2016 tax deduction, and feel good about a donation made to these precious lives in need!
