Give Gordon a Saxophone

Donation protected
You all know our loving and giving dad, Gordon Iocco, but perhaps not all of you know he used to play the alto saxophone. He even traveled with a band in his younger years, and later became a band director. He was a very skilled saxophonist.

About 15 years ago, at a time when our parents needed funds to pay for new brakes for the family vehicle, Dad sold his beloved saxophone. It was considered a collector's item and worth a good deal of money. While he is not one to complain, we still see a twinkle in his eye when we now suggest, "Dad, you should play the saxophone again!"

We, his children, would love to be able to give him a nice new saxophone as a big surprise Christmas gift this year. Professional instruments are expensive, so while we sons are all contributing, we need some help raising enough money for a professional quality instrument (we are currently considering an intermediate professional Yamaha that is priced around $3,100 but are still looking around).

We are celebrating Christmas with our parents in Kentucky around New Years, so we are trying to raise the money by FRIDAY, DECEMBER 21ST. This special gift will be a blessing to Dad and others who hear him play for years to come.

This is a surprise, so please help us keep it secret from Mom and Dad. If you would like to take part in giving Dad this special Christmas present, please consider a donation of any amount.

Thank you so much!

EDIT: We have raised the goal by $200 to account for a case and any necessary accessories.
