GiveSeaLifeAHand at Burkina Faso

Hey everyone, Tomás here!

In January I am planning to fly out to Burkina Faso to donate and set up a "Precious Plastic V3" recycling station at the A.M.P.O orphanage in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.

This orphanage was founded by Katrin Rohde, who I met in Portugal last winter.

With this set of mechanical tools, the childeren (under supervison) will be able to turn plastic waste into utility objects that can be sold (plastic waste which sooner or later will reach the Atlantic Ocean through the Black, Red and White Volta Rivers).

This project will not only reduce the plaste waste issue in Ouagadougou but also make this orphanage less dependent on donations and therefore more self sustainable. In other words, a massive win-win situation.

Furthermore, I also intend to travel around Burkina Faso to hold "GiveSeaLifeAHand Talks" like the ones I already held in Portugal, based on my Instagram page @GiveSeaLifeAHand message.

All possible donations and/or shares of this GoFundMe page can turn this goal of mine into reality!
