Give Val A Leg Up
Donation protected
The other day our friend Val Minery bravely shared her story of loss and recovery. Several months ago Val had some major life changes. While swimming in a river with her kids she developed a skin infection that put her life in danger. This infection became critical and in order to save her life she had to have part of her leg amputated.
Val is a single mother with two small boys, living out in South Dakota for several years. She has been an educator on an American Indian reservation but has not been able to work for a long time due to hospitalization and healing from surgery. She now has a long road ahead, learning to walk with a prosthetic leg.
Val has a beautiful attitude about all life has brought to her. She is uplifted daily by her brave and energetic boys and supportive mother. However, she is in great need for financial help.
Join us in offering financial support to Val and her boys.
