Give to Urban 4H/SIFE Teen Projects

We are the Karen youth of Ithaca. The Karen people are an ethnic group originally from Burma. They are refugees, who have fled from their homes in Burma because of genocide. Most Karen refugees are from Thailand, like us. 

We are raising money for our SIFE program and for us to have new experiences, such as visiting colleges and seeing different cities. SIFE, 
Students with Interrupted Formal Education, is part of the Cornell Cooperative Extension in which students connect with volunteers and receive homework assistance, reading support, and mentorship. 

We are also raising money for a mural project that we are working on in Ithaca in the fall of 2018. The goal of this project is to share our history and to spread awareness about underrepresented global issues.
