Give the Homeless a pillow! Serious

Sometime back I was homeless and living in my car.  The ONE BIG thing I missed was a pillow.  I used my jeans, coat, arm, dog (but he wouldnt hold still), crumpled newspaper, really what ever that was not the flat ground or surface that didnt prop my head up.

There are foundations that help with blankets, sleeping bags, coats, and even tents, but none that supply pillows.

As I walked (and have still walked) the streets of Denver, Colorado and have been in Arizona, Nevada, California, Washington State, and Oregon... I see the homeless everywhere all in need of something or other, but the common that I see is that they do not have pillows.

I want to go to WalMart or the like and buy pillows for the homeless, then walk around giving them directly to the folks that need them!  When you're homeless and in front of a social worker or person that wants to help... you ask for food, blankets, medical, dog food, and many such simular items... and if you ask the right people you'll get the help you need.  BUT they all, as I did, forget or backburner the comfort of a pillow.

With Winter upon us it seems there are more and more homeless sleeping on benches, underpasses, streets, sidewalks and park grass (even snow).  I'd like to start right away in helping hand out these pillows... wouldn't you like to help with this small comfort too?

Help me help them.  Im not giving these to any social charity so they can select who gets these pillows... Im going right to the folks that need them.
