My mother has worked all her days until 1995 when her first heart attack hit her. After about a year, she managed to hold down a few various cleaning jobs to keep me and my brothers and my dad above the breadline.

My dad died and my mum was like a rock to us but she kept on working as a cleaner. She had to quit when she developed COPD, a condition of the lungs, which makes it had for her to walk. She doesn't leave her chair much as she hasn't got the breath anymore. She had another heart attack in February where she died on the operating table four times. She has also developed serious leg ulcers due to have diabetes.

Basically I want to say I'm proud of her and buy her something special and how much she means to me. Kind regards.

Podiatrist just came up and fitted mum with some slippers that she can walk around the house with. Can't go out with them though as the stairs are too much for her. and its not because shes TOO FAT like a lot of old neighbours and people around this area have been saying.. She has COPD and leg ulcers, that's why. Thanks to everybody thats donated.

As you can see her spots have became worse, yet a dermatology appointment is nowhere to be seen.

First nurse to come out after my mum comes out of hospital doesn't turn up. Second one doesn't either. Says nobody was in, which is a crock of shit as my Mother can't get out the house. Starting to get angry over this whole thing. She hasn't seen anybody since she came out of hospital. Even reduced her painkillers even though she is still in excruciating pain. Unbelievable.

On December 29th, my mother had to go into hospital as she had a diabetic hypo coupled with a lack of oxygen. Her blood sugar was below zero. Living in this house is becoming impossible with all the extra stuff we have to buy for my mum as our local health centre or local area association won't help us help her with simple things. Like buying grappers, or even buying basins to wash her legs in. It really is a joke. I'll keep this donor page open. If anybody wishes to donate anything then please do so. It is much appreciated. Thanks a lot. My mum got out of hospital on the 4th January.
