Give Luna a second Chance

  Early this week a stray female German Shepherd Dog wandered onto my sister-in-law's farm! She is malnourished and scared. She has no tags and no chips. We gave her the name Luna. We've shared her all over the area and no one has stepped forward. Due to her poor condition, it is likely she was not cared for and dumped or has been lost for quite some time! I reached out to 5 local rescues and no one has the funds to take her. She is considered a high risk foster because her current health condition is unknown. People who already have dogs can't risk bringing her into their home and if she has heartworms, treatment will be long and expensive. The local shelters are full and can't promise her life.

  Abby and I would like to try and give her a second chance. We don't want this to be the end of her story. She is very timid but incredibly sweet and seems young!  She could have such a promising life, her past situation doesn't seem fair. 

  We are asking for funds to have her examined by a vet and take some initial steps towards improving her health. If we can clear her with a vet, negative heart worm, and get her some initial shots, rabies, distemper, parvo, we have a much better chance at getting a rescue to take her on! To be clear, the funds we are currently raising are to help cover an initial: 
  -Vet examination 
  -Heartworm Test
  -Rabies shot
  -Parvo shot
  -Distemper shot 
  -Flea and Tick treatment 

  We have a vet appointment scheduled for tomorrow early afternoon! Any donation will go a long way! I feel like the care for this sweet girl is so achievable if we come together. If just 23 people donate $10, we take the first step in giving her a better chance.
