My BEAUTIFUL friend, Katie, has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease at the young age of 33. Katie is an amazing girl who is always SO full of life and keeps us all laughing and has never let her symptoms stop her. She has a gorgeous 7 year old daughter called Annie who is her absolute life.
Motor neurone disease (MND) describes a group of diseases that affect the nerves (motor neurones) in the brain and spinal cord that tell your muscles what to do. With MND, messages from these nerves gradually stop reaching the muscles, leading them to weaken, stiffen and waste.
As I’m sure you’re all now aware, our beautiful Kate passed away on New Years Day unexpectedly. All funds will now be passed to Annie’s Dad, Andy, so he can take Annie away after Kates funeral.
Any contributions will help give Annie a fabulous time. Thank you all
