Give Evie & Jacob The Edge On Ice
Donation protected
Evie and Jacob, 13, are the only two skaters in the UK to have qualified for the 2018 British Figure Skating Championships in both singles AND pairs skating. The duo will head to Sheffield in November for the country's most prestigious competition where they will compete in two disciplines in the Under-15 category. Evie and Jacob train six days a week in Oxford and Coventry, travelling all over the UK and overseas to compete. Both skaters have been selected for the GB Development Squad and are trained by Emma Davies, Richard Beamish, Nikitia Aston and current British Champion Phillip Harris. Evie and Jacob started started skating at the age of 6 and have been friends for many years, but only joined together as a pair in May 2018, winning Silver in their first national competition together in August. They also train hard as singles skaters, both qualifying separately as well as a pair for British Championships, a feat no other skater in the UK has achieved this year. Evie and Jacob are currently working hard towards their biggest competition of the year, and they also have a number of national and international opportunities next year. Figure skating is a very expensive sport and Evie and Jacob would appreciate any support to help them reach their skating dreams. Figure skating costs include:
