Give Cancer The Boot Half-Marathon

Greetings! I hope this letter finds you well. We are planning to hold a half marathon/5K walk in Kabul, Afghanistan at the end of October to support breast cancer awareness.
“Give Cancer the BOOT” is an event where the participants from several multi-national military services and their civilian components, who are already working together to fight for a cause, will connect to support the pursuit to cure cancer!
We are receiving donations from the participants as contributions to research. However, we would love for the participants to walk away with not only an emotional reward or physical sense of accomplishment, but something they can keep as memorabilia.
And here’s where you can potentially come in!
If your company/organization does any kind of sponsoring of this sort, it would be amazing to receive your support. We would be looking for items including but not limited to: towels, wrist bands, water bottles and t-shirts.

While the participants are away “fighting the good fight,” we are mindful that thousands of women around the world who are also fighting a fight as well. We want to give back to this cause so they know we are right here fighting with them.
