Please Remember Theatre West in Your Year End Giving

In celebration of our 55th year we have set the goal of raising $55,000.00 by the end of 2018.  We have multi-streamed our fundraising efforts to all media platforms. From GoFundMe to our Lobby, to Facebook. from our Large Donors, our monthly givers,  and our Latte Donors of $5 - We love you all and are at about $30,000 in our combined efforts! Help us fill this year's production fund with the final $25,000 to bring THE NIGHT FORLORN, BY STEVE NEVIL and THE MAN WHO SAVED EVERYTHING BY BENJAMIN SCUGLIA to our mainstage.

Theatre West is a nonprofit theatre company that has been staging quality performances for the community for 55 years. We have received many awards and nominations over the years and a number of our members have stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Our children's theatre, Storybook Theatre, has been giving children their very first theatre experience for 35 years, and our performing arts program has been introducing elementary school students to the power of theatre for 10 years.
Our income comes from ticket sales, grants, member dues, and individual donors like you! Thank you for your support!

School has started!! Our LAUSD arts education in-school programming and theatrical field trips for Title I schools, and our Storybook production of The Ugly Duckling begin in October.  Help us enrich the lives of hundreds of children this school.    Your donation will go a long way, we promise.

Established in 1962 Theatre West is an internationally acclaimed non profit arts organization and the oldest continually running theatre company in Los Angeles. Our productions have toured both sides of the Atlantic, including the Edinburgh and Dublin Festivals, New York City, Atlanta, South Carolina, Seattle, San Francisco, and throughout California. Over the years Theatre West’s plays have transferred to Broadway (Spoon River Anthology, Aesop in Central Park), to feature films (A Bronx Tale, Faithful) and have been published (Acting: The First Six Lessons, Thicker Thank Water). Some of Hollywood’s brightest lights have made Theatre West their artistic home, including Betty Garrett, Lee Meriwether, Richard Dreyfuss, Carroll O’Connor, Jim Beaver, Beau Bridges, Pat Harrington, Harold Gould, Martin Landau, Bridget Hanley and Philip Abbott.

Theatre West is a democratic artistic cooperative of actors, writers, directors, administrators, executive and artistic Board members and technical professionals dedicated to the artistic growth of its members. Our threefold mission statement is to conduct workshops to further our member’s artistic growth, present performances grown from those workshops and to do outreach to the greater community. Dues paying company members enjoy access to workshops in acting, playwrighting, musical theatre and Shakespeare.
