Alfie O'Leary.
Arklow,
Co Wicklow
Age 54

I am sad to be writing this. Alfie O'Leary is a lifelong LFC armchair supporter. Well one who never found the time to visit Anfield. Family commitments always came first.

Sadly, Alfie has brain, lung and liver cancer. Talk LFC, a new LFC supporter Podcast found out about his plight and we are asking for your support to get Alfie and one of his nephews, Kenneth Geraghty, who is someone some of you will already know, over to Anfield for a game in the very near future.

It is our aim to arrange transport, accommodation and two match tickets for the home game against West Bromwich Albion on October 22nd this year and for him to meet some players past and present if possible, This would be a day to remember for Alfie. “Can you help”?

We have set a target of €2,000 to cover all of the costs for travel, accommodation and match tickets and we have contacted the club and other fan groups to see if they can be of any assistance.

Help spread the word!
