Gignilliat's Cats

Donation protected
John Gignilliat is a former U.S. Marine and a retired copy desk editor from the Savannah Evening News. (Pictured above in 2008)

At 72 years old he is now devoted to the welfare of approximately 70 feral cats in mid-town Savannah, GA. For the past ten years, seven days a week, regardless of the weather, he has delivered food and water by bicycle to ten colonies of cats around town.
Any newcomers are promptly taken to the vet to be spayed or neutered.
Any sickly cats are taken to a vet for attention.  (Two elderly invalid cats are in hospice care in John's bedroom.)  And John tries to find forever homes for the kittens.
Top picture shows John in his Marine dress uniform 1968.  Above shows John doing what he loves 2017.

He does this all on his meager Social Security income.

We are asking for donations to pay for food and spaying/neutering and medical attention. We would also welcome any local help in driving John in your car on his rounds as he has already worn out several bicycles and one knee.
