Retirement Gift for Carole Anderson

As you all know, our INCREDIBLE mother, Carole Anderson, is retiring from teaching at the end of this year -- after 35 years. We couldn't be more proud and excited for her to begin the next chapter of her life.
She has impacted the lives of so many teachers, students and families, in what has been an absolutely amazing career. Her passion for music education is unmatched, and her ability to inspire young people to love music is simply jaw-dropping.
For 35 years, she hasn't stopped moving! Rehearsals, concerts, festivals, trips and tours, musicals, bands, CHOIRS.... Her unwavering commitment to bringing out the absolute best in her students is what places her among the very best (in our completely biased opinion).
We are so grateful to call her Mom, and her passion, energy and dedication continues to inspire us every day.
We thought long and hard about what we could do to show her just how proud we are -- what we could give her that's worthy of such an illustrious career.
This is what we came up with....
Our parents need a VACATION!
For as long as we can remember, the only time away our parents have had together is at the annual music educators' conference (OMEA). We think it's time for this to change.
We know for certain that they would LOVE to get away somewhere warm (most likely at Christmas or in March). So we've thrown together this little campaign in an effort to make that happen.
We'd be forever grateful (and so would they) if you felt inspired to pitch in. No amount is too small. Every little bit helps.
Our goal is to raise the full amount by June 3 (her retirement party) so that we can present this gift as a surprise to both of them.
Please keep this a secret from our parents, but please do share it with anyone you know who may want to contribute.
