Gibson's Vet Bill

Donation protected

Wed January 4th, our pup Gibson started throwing up. Thursday he stopped eating but continued vomiting. He also stopped drinking. Friday morning he was vomiting nothing but bile. We took him to our vet for outpatient care, the cost was about $180, but we were able to handle that. We took him to an emergency veterinary clinic on Sat, but we're unable to come up with the $1200 they needed for his care. That night we started this campaign in the hopes that we'd be able to close the financial gap and just get by, but with all the money we've raised so far, we felt comfortable taking him in for surgery. Gibson is currently at University Veterinary Specialists in McMurray PA recovering from a surgery he had to remove a bowel obstruction from his duodenum (small intestine.) He'll need 24-48 hours of care which could be upwards to $5000. We would normally never ask for help financially from strangers, friends, or even family; we know that money is tight for so many of the people in our lives. We really need help though. My husband and I just purchased our first home. We close on the 27th of this month and have already spent $2000. Any amount would help and every last dollar will go toward Gibson's care; his medical bills, at home care, and medical supplies. We are grateful for your time and consideration. Thank you for reading.
