Who We Are:
The Gib Lewis is a Texas Department of Corrections prison that also happens to be one of the places where one would be able to find the hand of God changing men's hearts through various programs in order to prepare these men for eventual return to society. The ministry team consists of incarcerated men on Gib Lewis that God has called to minister to their fellow inmates.
Currently the equipment that the ministry team is operating with is over 20yrs old. Some of the cables have been repaired more than 10 times leaving more tape than original cable. IT is not uncommon to have static during the services due to faulty connections and overused equipment.
What We Need:
The thing the ministry needs most of all is prayer that God will continue to shower His grace upon us so we can continue to spread the gospel with boldness and comfort those with the comfort which we have received. We also are in dire need of a total upgrade of equipment everything from the mixing board, to cords, microphones, and software to produce music and other ministry videos. The equipment will not only be used for services and events on the Gib Lewis but also for outreach ministry opportunities to reach the next generation before they start down this path. The ministry team has visions of producing video testimonies to be used in the churches on the outside to show teenagers the danger of living the wrong type of life so that they will not make the same mistakes we have made.
