During an annual weekend away a group of friends from Gibraltar witnessed first hand the devastation of flash floods in the region of Cortes de la Frontera, with lives, homes and livelihoods destroyed by what has been considered the worst flooding in the area for over 40 years.
Gibraltar knows all too well how disruptive the rains can be however their impact in this area have caused so much damage there was no way we could just leave and let them deal with the aftermath alone, we really want to help them get back on their feet and recover, especially after the kindness they showed us in the face of their own losses.
Therefore this page has been set up to try and raise vital funds for the massive task ahead of clean up and helping to rebuild their community.
