Grandpa Henry's fight!

This about the most amazing Grandfather, human and husband in the world! Henry is a Stillwater native that is married to Rona and they live in West Lakeland. Grandpa stole my children's heart growing up with his excitement, kindness and love starting at each birth. Grandpa is the one we can all count on and would never say no. From picking Hudson up to get the latest video game or coming over to help work on things at the house and if we couldn't pick the kids up from school...Henry would go after working his 4am-noon shift. THe grand children are what keep Grandpa fighting for each day here.
Grandpa had suffered from lower abdominal pain for months and went to specialists in the cities and was misdiagnosed often. He made his appointment at the Mayo in June after having no results and suffering in excrutiating pain. The prognosis was terminal cancer of the lungs, neck and spine. Within a week the tumor on the spine was causing paralysis on the legs, he underwent surgery to remove the tumor the wrapped around the spine. Henry made it home for the 4th of July. Two weeks later the tumor came back with a veangance and was twice the size and moving up the spine causing paralyisis on the way up.As of today the radiation is believed to have slowed the growth of the tumor. The family has been taking several trips weekly for radiation and it usually takes two people to get him in and out of vehicle.
The whole reason for the funds is for his wife Rona to be able to take work off (without pay) as a RN at a local Stillwater facility and to be at home with Granpa Henry to take care of his needs since he isn't able to move his lower extremities and also to pay the mortgage, the other bills needed during this time. They can also have gatherings and family functions to create memories. ALso the stays down in Rochester add up fast. Grandpa likes to be surrounded by is family during this time.
I would like for them to have access to the funds as soon as possible as time is very important......less stress at this point would be a huge burden lifted off Grandma and Grandpa!
We have a special someone who will match up to 10k as well. It is well needed from the Rodriguez family!!
