College is expensive

Dear Family and Friends,
For those of you who know me, know of my situation and some of the things I been through. For the people that dont know me here's a brief summary, Im the 3rd child of 8, and 1st generation college student along with my older brother. We grew up in a crowded house, it wasn't easy and it required me to mature more quickly.  we were not as privileged as others but that didn't stop us from fighting the battles we had to fight to thrive. My great grandma motivated me to do well in school and was my biggest supporter, she paid for everything I needed to attend school and gave me that push that helped me get to where I am today. My first two years of high school I was class president and tried to maintain good grades while losing my home and constantly having to relocate. Summer after sophomore year my mom had a fall out and my step dad was deported to mexico, leaving me and my 5 younger siblings to live with my uncle for the next two years. The beginning of my senior year I had already been maintaining a steady job. With 5 siblings also in school, and also needed help with their school work I managed to juggle the many activities in my life. In addition to being apart of National Honor Society, I was taking three college credit courses and working night shifts. I graduated with a 3.7 G.P.A.  I was accepted to three different colleges and I am now attending WSU, Pullman for the fall of 2018 to major in elementary education. Unfortunately my scholarships didn't cover my whole tuition and I am unable to pay all of it by November. This mainly includes my housing and books. Since it required to live on campus the first year I had to leave my job and being on my own I don't have any financial support or income as of now. I am currently looking for a job and I am only allowed to work so many hours for the school. It would be greatly appreciated for any donations to help me finish this year with a little less to worry about. Thank you for all the love and support that I’ve been shown through my journey and I hope to continue to teach, help, and to inspire individuals around me.
