Emergency Car Repair

Recently, my mom and I found out that the problems we've been having with oil pressure and an oil leak in our car is very likely due to a damaged oil pan & filter. This has left our car unsafe for highway travel and large amounts of in-town travel as well. I have labelled this as an emergency mostly for my mom's sake (who doesn't know I'm doing this), as she has to take periodic trips to Calgary for specialist appointments to deal with her arthritis, disability paperwork & receive any required medications. I will also admit that it's becoming a necessity for me in terms of gaining more profitable employment as well as taking the exam for my Class 5 license.  We're both on fixed incomes right now, which means not only can we not afford a second vehicle, but it'll take a long while for us to be able to save up enough to pay for all the repairs, as we only have liability coverage on our insurance. I have set the goal at $775 to cover the estimated cost of the parts ($431+tax), the mechanic's labor (cost currently unknown) & the small charges that GoFundMe takes off each transaction (if that gets charged to me).
