Getting him back to the golf course

After fighting what felt like the flu for almost two months, David went to have his blood drawn to see exactly what was going on, they also did an ultrasound to check some pain. on June 6, 2018 David was diagnosed with lymphoma and a spot on his liver. He had been having some heart issues also, which he had an unsuccessful procedure back at the end of May. Before going to MD Anderson the heart procedure was to be tried again. After two hours of surgery it was yet again, unsuccessful. They went ahead with the appointment at MD Anderson on Monday, June 25th. He was confirmed the cancer but the words hurt a little more. Aggressive Large Cell Lymphoma.  His organs are so expanded, his Kidney isn't even in the correct spot. The team of wonderful doctors were right on it, knowing he had heart trouble they wanted to be certain he was healthy enough to start treatment. They met a team to check his heart on Tuesday, June 26th. First the GREAT news, this cancer has a 95% chance of going into remission, and then the painful news. David's heart level was at 39%. To start treatment the team of doctors want it at 50%, just last month during the first unsuccessful heart procedure it was at 49%. Honestly, not sure what this means but these are the numbers given at this time. They are currently running more test to see what medicine can be taken and or route can be taken to get his heart to that magical 50% so he can kick this cancer out of the park forever! David, along with his wife Sheree have been in Houston for the past 3 days acquiring food, lodge, gas, and of course medical bills. It has just started and the bills are piling up. If you know David, he would give you the shirt off of his back (after he complained a little...right, Dad?). His love for God is something people see in his everyday actions, his love for his wife? that is something to talk about!! He has built a loving home with 4 children, and many grandkids who all adore their pops! His children, all poke fun at his "glass half empty" mentality but they seem to show him what life is all about and he quickly changes his mind! His life really is just getting started, grown kids, precious babies to love, and a social life most of his children envy! Please help David and Sheree with the burden of all bills. Everything is unknown, but we do know this. His faith is strong, he is strong, his wife is strong, and his kids are strong!! We have this Dad! You will be golfing again in no time!
