Getting Derek Back Home

As many of you already know, Derek has been hospitalized for almost a month. During this time my mother filed for FMLA (family medical leave act). This ensured she kept her job, but that left her with no income. Derek doctors are looking to get him into a specialized rehab facility and the one in particular is in Lincoln, NE. We don’t usually ask for money, and it almost feels like we are begging. My mother does not know I set this up, but I HATE to see my mother struggling with so many things at once. My grandparents don’t know I’m doing this either. I just hope to get some stress off of my mothers shoulders. She had minor heart operation & my grandpa had a major back surgery 2 days later. 2019 is off to a rough start.

I took a few weeks off of work as well to be with my family. I don’t understand much about GoFundMe, but I figured it is worth a shot to help my family out. I start working again full-time tomorrow so I can get some money saved and help out with our necessities. 
 Thank you for anyone who helps out. I’ll tag my family in the post. Family over everything. We need Derek to get his traumatic brain injury treated and to come home.
