Getting Cayden to NJ

Cayden is an amazing, strong, courageous 8 year old who was diagnosed with SPinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1 before 6 months of age. This is the number 1 genetic killer in children. His mom takes care of Cayden around the clock. In 2012, Cayden was trached. This was all within a months time of losing his sister Aleigha at 10 months to the same disease! Unfortunately with SC Medicaid, they will not cover his visit to see Dr. Bach in New Jersey who is a specialist with this disease. He is a pulmonologist. Cayden desperately needs to be seen by him as he hasn’t seen him since 2011. His mom needs to rent a van, obtain a hotel, and cover the office visit. Since she is unable to work YOUR help would be appreciated. She isn’t the one to ask for things!! Office visit is around 350, a van is around 400, and a hotel was found to run about 300 for the duration of stay. This appointment is October 15th!! Would you be so kind to help him get into this specialist!!!
