Let's Get Emily Well!
This online fund raising webpage has been created to provide supplemental financial assistance to Emily Welling O'Reilly who is a wife, mother of three beautiful children who are under the age of three, daughter, sister, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, therapist to her clients at The Welling Group, and friend.
Emily is the loving wife and mother of three young children. As Emily and her family navigate fighting this cancer, there will undoubtedly be unexpected medical expenses that are not covered by insurance. Some of the treatment options that might be most suitable may take Emily outside of Cincinnati. As a result of these new expenses, clearly, the cost of raising three young children will also be impacted.
This is new to Emily and the entire family and we are not exactly sure what the expenses will be yet. As a result, this site was set up by Emily's extended family to provide friends and family with the opportunity to assist Emily in her fight against cancer.
We will keep you updated via this site as to how Emily is doing and what treatment plans are in place. We thank you for your love, prayers, kindness and support during this unexpected journey.
It does not make things easy it makes them possible. Luke 1:37
The gofundme fundraising page will be closed on Friday, Jan 22nd. You can also express your sympathy via mail to Scott and the kids at,
2908 Victoria Ave
Cincinnati, OH 45208.
I know I can speak for Emily's entire family and circle of friends when I say your support means the world to her and us! She has always wanted her family to be taken care of, first and foremost, thank you, thank you!!
We miss you so much Em!
Since Emily's diagnosis in June 2014, she has been unable to work. This fundraising page has been a godsend for the O'Reilly family during this brutal year and a half battle. When a tragedy occurs, the world keeps spinning...Bills still need to be paid, babysitting and every day expenses keep rolling in and Scott has to continue to provide for his 3 sweet babies.
Many of you have reached out wanting to help and we are so grateful for you! This is the best way I know how to ease some stress for the entire family. Helping them with funeral expenses and more to assist with ongoing medical expenses and other bills will most definitely provide some relief.
Again, thank you all so very much! The outpouring of support in this tragic time has really been comforting for all who love and care for Emily and her family. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!
We had Christmas here and I'm so glad we were able to celebrate together as a family even after our early Christmas that we taped a few weeks ago.
Thanks for your support throughout all of my treatment and the love from everyone has given me added strength and support at a time when I've needed it the most too. The pain has really increased and has been the highest it's been this past year and a half but the carolers singing and prayer services and nice notes etc. have helped me through and I'm so grateful for all of you.
Dear Scott and family, I am a St Mary parishioner who has followed Emily's story for over a year. My family and I have prayed for you and all who are close to Emily. You all have shown such remarkable courage by sharing Emily with people you don't even know. I am grateful to have been one of those people. We will continue to keep you in our prayers. I am sure Emily has received a beautiful Crown of Life from the Lord. May God's Love continue to carry you through your journey.
