In 2014 l was diagnosed with ALS after having skin cancer and diabetes. Went fwor second opinion at USF in Florida at the Neurology department in 2015. Dr at USF did all the same test as the first doctor and his diagnosis was CIDP chronic inflammatory demyelination neuropathy . I was treated from 2015 to 2018 for CIDP my next appointment October 13 I thought I was going to get stem cell replacement as my next treatment but was diagnosed with ALS instead. That’s when my life was turn upside down had to get newer car so I could keep driving but after a few month I had to stop driving forever. And as drivers you know what that like it’s like someone took your favorite toy now I sit in my wheelchair and look out the window. The only time I get out is to doctors appointment and that every 4 months and then I have to rent a van Would like to be able to get out and go to beach,store or go and see friends but can’t because I have no way to go that why I am doing this
