We all have a story.
The Plan is for these three riders will compete at Boneo Classic in the Para Dressage - more about that later.
This will be the first National Para Dressage competition for all three of us - Please help support us by donating.

- Noella Angel
I am a 24 year old, horse rider from Strathalbyn SA. I was born with Klippel Trenaunay Syndrome in my Right Leg. From many medical treatments I have ended up being on Forearm Crutches full time. Riding has been my freedom and competitions is apart of that. Competing from the age of 13 in many different disciples from Dressage, Showjumping, Eventing, Stockmans Challenges, Campdrafting and have ridden to K certificate level in Pony Club. I have represented Riding for the Disabled in State and National Championships - in 2013 I was the champion Para Rider for my grade and in 2015 was awarded the "Willy Award" for sportsmanship. Due to my condition I have been able to be Classified as a Grade IV Para Equestrian Rider – This means that Paralympics is a possibility for me. Dressage is now my main focus as my disability has limited some of my ability, not that I still don't try everything. Horses have been that freedom from my disability - I can't walk on the ground but watch me run on a horse.

I am a 29 year old, horse rider from Clare SA.
I was born with cerebral palsy from the waist down. Horses have always been a big part of our family. I have been riding since I was 4yrs old. I have ridden in Pony Club since I was 5 years old in several different disciplines at zone and state level. In 2010, I took part in my first RDA competition and in 2012, competed in RDA Nationals in Werribee.
Horses are such a big part of my life and have given me so many opportunities and the ability to meet amazing people and make life long friends. I am so lucky for the people that horses have brought into my life! Among the many things that horses give me, my favourite is that when I ride, people generally don't see my disability - they only see the partnership of my horse and I. This partnership is something we work on every day, I am so lucky and grateful for all my horse helps me with.-
Dressage is my main passion these days and I am so excited for the future and where that leads and my first Equestrian Australia National event in The Boneo Classic Para equestrian competition.
- Natalie Mellors
I am a 35 year old horse rider from Gawler.
I was born with a congenital myopathy and had a stroke at the age of 19 months old. I always found it difficult to keep up with my peers playing sport at school, it was so disheartening. In 1997 I was introduced to RDA. I am a grade 2 Para Equestrian rider. I attended my first RDA National Championships in 1998. From then horses became my freedom - I found something that I could achieve and loved it, it helps relieve my body from constant pain and I have never looked back!!
I was privileged to represent Australia by competing in Taiwan's Hope Cup in 2014.
I have a big passion for dressage and want to go as far as I can with it. Can't wait to compete at my first Equestrian Australia National event in the Boneo Classic Para Equestrian Competition
The Event - Boneo Classic
Boneo Park on the Mornington peninsula Vic - runs a International Event in January every year. It is proudly sponsored by NAB.
~We compete Thursday the 19th, Friday 20th & Saturday 21st of January 2017~
Your donations will go towards
- Traveling for us, horses & the support team.
- Stabling / Camping
- Entries
The amount we have asked for is only the start of the cost for competing at events like this and remember there are three of us that are so thankful to your donation - so please help us with what you can.
