Get the Polyphon working again

£350 of £3,000 goal

Created June 20, 2019
The Polyphon has been a much loved part of the collection for more than 50 years, bringing pleasure to visitors young and old over the decades.

The Polyphon is currently silent because it needs its mechanism over hauling and the discs are worn out.

We are raising money to get the Polyphon back in working order so that the next generation of visitors can enjoy the enchanting sounds.

If we can raise the money by the end of October so that we can unveil the restored Polyphon as part of the forthcoming Alan Ward exhibition 'Photographs from another place' early in December this year.
