Please help the Chris Mackie family

Chris Mackie (my Sister’s husband) had a severe stroke around December 1st.
He is in the Critical Care Unit at Lahey in Burlington, MA. Chris has a very long recovery ahead of him. There are losses of many functions (including swallowing, speech, right limbs) and we are all waiting to hear a plan of action.
Unfortunately the only thing we know for sure is that while his hospital stay is covered (for the most part), his longterm therapy will not be. This will be a huge financial burden when the time comes.
They will be in need for a very long time and this is why I ask for help while they struggle. I can tell you that no amount of money is too small. Thoughts and prayers are just as welcome. Kathy believes in positivity and is keeping Chris surrounded with it.
