Pixie Keenan is a woman who has dedicated most of her life to helping other women. Through Miss Pinup Australia,
Pixie has empowered hundreds, possibly thousands of women find strength, courage and beauty within themselves through a love of vintage fashion. Miss Pinup Australia is a true labour of love for Pixie, run for almost 10 years, Pixie never made a cent of profit through running the competition, in fact it would always run at a financial loss. For Pixie it was never about making money, it was about what the experience did for the women involved and that was to help them develop confidence and self love.
This year is Pixies 50th birthday and she has made the tough decision to put Miss Pinup Australia on hold while she takes some time out to care for herself.
Pixie has had many hardships in her life, more than one person should have to ever go through, but through it all she has always put the happiness of others before her own. Now it’s time to try change all that. We are trying to raise money to get Pixie to her self described “Happy place”. Please help us raise the money to get Pixie and her family to Disneyland to celebrate her 50th birthday. For all that she has done for others, it is the least we can do for her x
