Get our beloved Karen (Nana) home

As many of you all know our beloved Karen (Nana), a long time RN at Sierra Vista, a nursing instructor at Cuesta College, and a case manager for ASN, suffered a brain anuerysm in early October while visiting friends in Los Angeles. Karen survived the first only to suffer  a far more serious anuerysm, leaving her family with the extrememly difficult decision to bring in Hospice for comfort care until the end.
Karen is currently at a facility in Los Angeles and unable to recieve 'Medical Hospice' while under their care. In order for Karen to recieve the amazing care she need from Hospice, she needs to be transported from the current facility.
The family has been traveling to and from LA/Morro Bay for the last 7 weeks. Needless to say this has been an emotional/financial struggle for everyone. 
We want to bring Karen (Nana) home to be with her friends and family while getting the Hospice support she needs through her transition. Unfortunatley the ambulance transport is not covered under her insurance and will be a completely out of pocket expense. We are asking her friends/family/nursing family to please help in any way you can with this financial burden.
We just cant bare another moment with out her close and under the compassionate care of Hospice SLO.
