My mom has had a very challenging couple of years ... she is single and does the best she can which is usually enough, but life has been throwing her curve balls especially this pas year ... Here is a list I made up. The first 2 have not been 100% confirmed yet because she is waiting to see multiple specialists over the next few months. However, every doctor and specialist she has seen has said they are very close to certain she has at least one if not both....

Ménière’s disease
She DOES 100% have
arthritis
leaky veins
Asthma
A-fib
She has applied for assistance and has been told she has enough going on that she should be able to get help, but they said she has to jump through all the hoops first and it could be a couple years of fighting for it .
My mom works non stop. Whether she is at her job or working at home, she works morning to night. She's not lazy. She doesn't take advantage of people , and absolutely hates asking for help.
She desperately needs her car worked on. This morning she woke up to it not starting , and NO BRAKES. Its an old Ford Focus with a ton of miles on it .
My mom gets her clothes from goodwill , she rarely goes out unless invited and STILL manages to have a great time and love life. She is thankful for the little things like going for a short walk in the woods as long as her body will allow her.
I'm not looking to make her rich, I just want her to get a few things fixed so she doesn't wake up wondering if she get down the road for groceries or to town to work .
Nobody that works so hard, gives so much to others and has such a great outlook on life should have to live this way. I am with her more than anyone so I know how hard she works even when she in extreme pain.
She stays awake at night squirming in pain . Ive heard it with my own ears . she is lucky if she gets a solid 4 hours a night .
She’s not a 20 year old they made bad decisions and needs to learn a lesson . She’s a single woman in her late 50s that has been through a divorce , a big move , her fathers death and multiple health issues all with in 2 years
She doesn’t ask for a lot , the littlest things make her happy . She just needs a little help getting back on her feet
She told me she didn’t want a go fund me she doesn’t want to ask for help because she knows there are people that need it more and she has lived through worse ... so I’m doing it for her . She doesn't have normal luxuries ....no wifi , no cable , uses a track phone. If you can spare a few dollars, it would mean so much. Thank you for considering .
