Get Matt swimming with Sharks

Out of the blue, seemingly fit and well, Matt had a massive seizure one evening after his shift at work May 2018. Scans at hospital revealed a mass on his brain. A large tumour. He had an awake craniotomy to remove it a couple of weeks later on June 6th 2018. It was unsuccessful, it had been there too long, and his brain had adapted around it. After his operation, he became very ill with increased seizures and steroid induced diabetes and lost the strength in his left leg and arm. He was hospitalised for a week on I.V antiseizures and I.V insulin to stabalise him and had to learn to walk again. Subsequent tests on the tumour revealed he had a rare Clear Cell Ependymoma, ungradable, malignant and very aggressive. He was told he needed immediate treatment. That treatment of Radio Therapy /Chemotherapy would be trial and error, would only shrink IF successful and the tumour would grow back too. He decided treatment wasn't worth being ill for what little time he had left. Matt has defied the odds and his Doctors predictions, and is still with us just over a year later. Still fighting. The only thing Matt has ever wanted to do, is swim with Great White Sharks. We'd like to be able to make that wish come true with your help.
