Hi! Thank you for visiting my page.
My name is Lucy, I'm 22 years old, and I have been accepted onto the musical theatre course at the Vienna Konservatorium.
The department is one of the most prominent training centres for musical theatre in Austria, and has a high international profile. This is an absolute dream come true for me, as I have wanted to pursue musical theatre ever since I can remember. German language theatre in particular is my passion, and it would be an incredible opportunity for me to pursue it in a city which leads the German language theatre business.
Unfortunately, the course costs are more than I can currently afford. I feel extremely uncomfortable asking for donations, and I am doing everything I can to fund this (savings, jobs - at home for the summer, and in Vienna, portrait commissions, selling things), but I stil can't fund this entirely myself... and I don't want to miss out on my dream that I have worked so hard for!
I have recieved the University of St Andrews vocal scholarship for four consecutive years, and taken part in musical theatre workshops by Oliver Arno and Michael Heller (stars in German language theatre). I have performed leading roles in musicals and operetta such as The Sound of Music, Hairspray, and Iolanthe, plays such as The Tempest and Miss Julie, as well as regularly participating in recitals and concerts. Performances have taken place worldwide - the UK, the USA, Germany and Austria.
