I have recently had the excitement of receiving my official invitation to compete in the IPF World Powerlifting Championships in Calgary, Canada in the 57kg class after winning the British Championships in February 2018.
Powerlifting is a self-funded sport and after doing a lot of research I've found that a lot of sporting grants would not assist me with my travel and accommodation. I have set up this Go Fund Me page in hope that I can raise enough money to help me attend the event.
I started powerlifting in 2015 and I have worked extremely hard to get to where I am. I train five times a week and dedicate all of my spare time and money into powerlifting, and with the standards continuously rising I may not get this opportunity again.
Any donation, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated in order to help me represent my country.
