Hi my name is Noa Shaw and I live in NYC. A few details before you start reading. My intention with this campaign is to raise money to buy this young lady a car. Once we have reached the goal I will withdraw the money and then through my network of coworkers ( who I have in DC) they will
accompany Kaneisha to purchase the car. We are already in contact with some car dealerships in the DC area. I have learned that a steady and dependable car will

ok people, it's time for us to come together for a greater purpose. I recently read an article about a young woman, Kaneisha Onley, who had her car repossessed due to the government shutdown. Kaneisha is a single mom with a 3-year-old son, Jeremiah. She works as a security guard at The Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC. Because she is a contract employee, she does not get any back pay. She lost her car because she didn't have the income to make her car payments. It's winter time, and after getting her son ready for daycare, she has to find a family member to drive her to a bus stop an hour away so she can get to work.
We can help this woman and we have the ability to effect great change in her and her son's lives. Talk is great -- and I know so many of you who have expressed frustration with the current state of our country -- but now it's time to ACT. My goal is to raise $15,000 to help Kaneisha buy a car. Let's make this happen for her!!! It will change her and her son's lives.
