Get Josh to the Transplant Games

Donation protected
Josh Yates is a young man from Busselton WA who has recently been selected to represent Australia at the World Transplant Games in Spain.

Josh is a bone marrow transplant recipient. This is a campaign to help get Josh to Spain where the World Transplant games are held in June. Josh is relying on the off chance of sponsorship to get him to the games.

Travelling to Spain is not only a cost for Josh, but his support crew (mum, dad and Java - his seeing eye dog).

A local paper, Busselton-Dunsborough Mail, wrote about Josh's great achievement and spoke to him about it.

“Being vision impaired makes it difficult for me to improve (and) the ataxia that I have in my body makes things more difficult for me; however my determination usually outweighs any problems,” he said.

“I am happy to be healthy and I am very grateful to my bone marrow donor. "

We are asking for donations of any amounts to go towards the travel expenses for Josh and his support crew.

We thank you for taking the time to read his story.
