My beautiful friend Jessica Jaen was sexually assaulted Saturday night while on vacation in Europe. She is traumatized and attempting to get back on US soil as soon as possible. She is in Spain receiving medical treatment and is trying to get a flight back here as soon as possible.
Jessica has given of her time and talent to many people in new media and podcasting and would give the shirt off her back to a friend or acquaintance. In this time of both emotional and financial need, I'm asking all of us who have been the beneficiary of Jessica's talents and love to pitch in, even if it's just a few dollars. I am estimating that $2500 will cover a flight and medical expenses.
Jess is from Florida so we will try to get her a flight there first, but if it's possible to get her to NYC or DC faster, and you live in either of those areas and can help her out, please let me know.
