I have been accepted to my dream school, Berklee College of Music in Boston.
I am a singer/songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer from Paisley, Scotland. I have played piano, guitar and sang since I was 11 years old. Music has been a big part of my life since high school and I have been lucky to work in the industry over the last few years, performing at weddings, restaurants, theatres, and also as a music tutor.
In April 2019 I had a successful interview and audition to Berklee. Regarded as one of the best music schools in the world, it offers tuition from experienced faculty, great networking, top of the range music equipment, and the opportunity to work with likeminded people from around the world. The connections and contacts I could make during my time at Berklee could be life changing.
The ‘Bachelor’s Degree of Music’ course is a 4 year course at Berklee’s beautiful campus in the heart of Boston, Massachusetts. During first semester I will get a taste of the huge variety of courses that are offered. I will be tested throughout this term to help narrow down my 'Major' selection to study for the following semesters. My goal is to pursue a career in composition and songwriting. I am working very hard to apply for grants and scholarships, but due to the high cost of education and living in America I need as much support as I can possibly get. I will be organising events and releasing music over the next year to help raise money for tuition fees. All donation's - big or small, will be much appreciated.
