Today, Thursday, July 26th, 2018, Daniel received his skates.

Find attached photo.

I cannot express my gratitude and love to everyone involved in this endeavor.

I'd like to specifically thank the following people:

If it wasn't for Malik, the idea of doing this wouldn't have been realized. Thank you sir.

Mr. Matt worked closely with me to ensure we provided Daniel everything he needed. He included extras like an issue of Be-Mag, along with DVD's and Tee's.

Philip assisted in verifying address details and ensuring we were all good to go.

Thank you Mr. Jon for making a great skate for the blade community. So glad to be able to provide Daniel a pair of THEM 908's

Cletus provided an extra set of OYSI frames to keep Daniel going. Thank you so much Cletus.

Long contributed the Go Project 72's via Oak City Skate Shop. Thank you Long.

Pat is sending additionals to Daniel. Thank you Patrick!

Brian has been pivotal in promoting good vibes in the scene and assisted in coordination. Thank you Brian.

Manny got in touch with me and helped out in spreading the word as well. Thank you bud.

Mike gave me solid input for the liners, ultimately steering us in the direction of the Intuition Liners to ensure the skates fit Daniel's feet properly.

Lonnie was our last contributor and helped us reach our final goal. Please help Lonnie out with his current endeavor in raising funds for Mr. Robert Guerrero. It is dire that we continue to help our brothers and sisters when in need.

Every single one of you has been instrumental in keeping this sport going the way it is. Every day you skate, talk about skating, think about skating, is a professional day lived.

So much love to everyone in our sport.

I cannot thank people enough.

Love Forever,

As promised, an update on regarding the Daniel Ogbogu initiative:

- Skates have shipped via Intuition Skate Shop as of Thursday, July 19th, 2018. Lead time is roughly 5 biz days. I've provided Daniel with the tracking info and advised him to alert his local post office accordingly.

- Cost of Procurement was $672.90 including shipping and insurance.

- Total funds raised about GoFund Me fees was $768.38.

- The remaining $95.48 has been sent via Western Union as of today, Saturday, July 21st, 2018. Daniel will receive a total of $83.48 after the $12.00 Western Union processing fee. The funds provided to Daniel will assist with travel costs associated with obtaining the skates. Invoice attached for further reference.

- I want to apologize again to anyone that I had proposed to compensation for shipping additionals to Daniel. Want to stress again that I should have been more thorough with knowing my #'s. My apologies.

I want to thank everyone again, endlessly, for their support with this.

I will keep you posted on Daniel's receipt of the skates in question.

My apologies for the stagnancy in my updates.

Daniel's skates shipped yesterday, Wednesday, 7/18/18 via Intuition Skate Shop. Per Matt Mickey at Intuition:

"The Daniel Ogbogu package is on the way. Important to note a few things.

1 - Max insurance we could acquire was $200 coverage, based on all the scams into/out of Nigeria.

2 - We were only able to acquire the max insurance of $200 by shipping via USPS Priority Express, which was $145.60, instead of $118.+/- for the normal USPS Priority.

3 - Package weight is 12lbs 6.8 ounces, and is a brown box measuring 22" x 16" x 6".

4 - Please let Daniel know to be in contact with his local post office and postman to let them know he has a package coming from California, USA. Whatever he can do to ensure that he takes delivery of the package, and it is not 'lost' or otherwise opened/manipulated. His package should arrive within 5 days."

I've alerted Daniel of the package and its tracking #.

Let's talk brass:

Total cost to procure was $672.90

Our take home on the $800 we raised was $768.38 after GoFund Me Fees.

A breakdown of the skate set up via Intuition:

1 set Them Skates Large/Black/Boot Only - $165.90

1 set Intuition Skate V2 liners XLarge - $169.90 ( - $30 Them Skates liner rebate)

1 set Oysius Chassis Black - $79.90 (+ additional Oysius Blue frames)

1 set Go Project 72mm White wheels - $39.90 (Courtesy of Oak City Skate Shop!)

1 set UC Eugen Enin 60mm White wheels - $39.90

2 sets Bones Reds bearings - $31.80

Sub Total - $527.30

USPS Global Priority Express Mail - $145.60 (*Includes max $200 insurance)

Package Total - $672.90

We have a remaining $95.48.

I have decided to use the remaining $ to ensure Daniel can obtain his skates. We have decided to have him alert his post office to hold the package so he can pick up in person. There is some traveling that entails, thus the $95.48 will be used to cover that and put some $ in his pocket as well.

I will provide the following documentation shortly:

- Invoice via Intuition outlining costs of Skates & Shipping
- Money Transfer Receipt via Western Union to Daniel.

I want to apologize to anyone that I had promised reimbursement for sending additional's. I should've been more thorough in my #'s when planning this.

Finally, I want to thank everyone involved in supporting this effort. It is truly an honor to be apart of this.
