Get Chima to the UK

My name is Stephen, and I’m the father of four amazing kids, Asha, Chima, Duran and Fuji. I’ve been raising my kids by myself since October 2016, when my wife of 16 years, Chanel, died suddenly of complications from breast cancer.

Since that time, I’ve done everything in my power to  ensure that the kids’ lives are as normal as possible. They participate in sports, play instruments, engage in social and civic activities, and for all intents and purposes, are adjusting relatively well to life considering the turmoil caused by losing their mother.

My son, Chima, who attends Princeton Day School, was selected to participate in an international exchange program which offers students the opportunity to spend a week in a foreign country to help build their appreciation of different cultures. The program takes place during their spring break, March 14-22, 2019.

One of the things that Chanel wanted for all of our children, before she passed away, was that they be able to travel internationally and expand their world view. This exchange program represents an amazing opportunity for Chima to realize Chanel’s wishes for him.

Unfortunately, as a single dad raising four kids on one salary, I don’t always have the ability to meet these types of unanticipated expenses. But I don’t want Chima to miss out on this trip, so I’m hoping that everyone who reads this message, feels compelled to contribute.
