Get Better Kasey Jones

Hi everyone, my name is Kari Jones but mostly everyone knows by Kasey Jones. I graduated from Minor High School in 2012, Lawson State Community College in 2014, and Benedict College in December of 2016. I earned my A.A in English and my B.A in Mass Communication. For the past two years I've been struggling with Severe Bipolar depression, vasovagel syncope, conversion disorder, anxiety, pericarditis, and I have a cancerous mass on my lung that has been removed. I've been hospitalized for the past week and a half do to the conversion disorder my legs are paralyzed. I'm about to start physical thereapy tomorrow to help me walk again. But I just want to thank everyone who has known and kept it a secret like I asked I appreciate. To all my friends, family, co workers, former teammates, professors , coaches and most of all my fiancé! I have been battling with myself; you may also not know in September 4, 2016 I attempted to commit suicide! I overdosed and my fiancé found me and rushed me to the hostspital. I was in the ICU for a day so they could pump my stomach of the pills. I realized that I needed to share this because I could be the one to help or save someone else's life. Suicide is a significant pertinent coneversation that needs to be taken serious. It's becoming an epidemic.My support system kept me going I wouldn't have made it without any of them so I thank you all. I'm starting this go fund me account because I don't have insurance everything has to come out of my family's pocket.
