I'm one of the co-hosts of the (wildly popular) podcast the 'Zyxx Fancast', with my stateside cohost Brandon. So far the titular podcast, Mission to Zyxx, is only doing liveshows in the US. I have never been and to afford to visit the states as I'm a poor archaeologist (we don't earn much!) whose car keeps breaking down everytime I manage to get some money saved!
MtZ will be doing a live show at PodX in June, meaning I'd get to both see that and actually meet my cohost in person for the first time!
Return plane tickets to the Nashville are at cheapest £500, a hotel for 4 nights will be £400 at cheapest, and a ticket to the con starts at $70.
(STRETCH GOAL, if I somehow get $2000 I will use it to pay for another of the UKs biggest Zyxx fans (hint: it's you Fae) to come with me!)
