In the life of any football club, you come across players that have something special. The perfect mix of talent, determination and discipline. Bailey Paxton is one of those players. He has been with the Kawungan Sandy Straits Jets Football Club since a young boy and gone on to represent the Fraser Coast and Wide Bay with distinction. Everyone who watches him play comes to the same conclusion – ‘this lad has got what it takes’.
In September this year Bailey was selected to attend the West Ham United National Camp. During the camp he proved his ability as a player and his character as a person. As a result, he was selected in the West Ham United International u14 team to play a series of games in England. He will leave this November. Bailey’s parents have supported the KSS Jets for many years, both as volunteers and as club sponsors.
As president of this great club, I am asking for our members to mirror their support through this Go Fund Me page. Even the smallest contribution will remove some of the burden and help Bailey realise his dream.
If you are not a member of the Jets, but believe in providing opportunities for young Australian athletes, your support would be greatly appreciated.
Imagine for a moment the impossible dream! Sitting in the grandstand, as a young Australian player runs out onto the pitch in the finals of a World Cup – Paxton emblazoned on his back. You turn to the person next to you, saying “I helped get him here”.
