This is our son Cruz. He is a dream come true. He is an extreme premature born in week 26 of his gestation. He is a little warrior. He is the twin of passed away baby Rio. He is a fighter who has already lived a lot and need your help to close the last mile on his way home.
Cruz and his twin Rio were born as extreme prematures in Mexico on August 14th 2016. Rio passed away an hour after birth. Cruz has fought against cardiac complications, renal problems, chronic pulmonary diseases and a series of infections acquired in the hospital in Mexico, until he was fit to fly. On his way back to Spain, he had a life-threatening crisis on the flight, and our plane was diverted to Ireland in a medical emergency landing. He has been treated in Temple Street Children University Hospital in Dublin, and after some days in Intensive Care, he is now recovering to fly home to Barcelona so that he can continue treatment for his heart, his kidneys and his lungs in a hospital in Barcelona, surrounded by the love of his family

His medical conditions require that this transportation is carried in an air ambulance, which is not funded by the social security system. The funds raised will be used to cover the cost of the air ambulance from Dublin to Barcelona so that he can continue the medical treatment home,
Any funds received above the the amount to cover the air ambulance will be donated to Temple Street Children University Hospital in Dublin, in deep gratefulness for the support Cruz has received in this institution.
