Dear friends, My dear husband of 23 years, Jerry Geiling was recently diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiform -an active malignant brain cancer.

On October 25th, 2016 he had two mini seizures. He had no symtoms prior to the seizures, but three days later he had brain surgery at Albany Medical.  The surgeon was able to remove the larger of three tumors, but he will be starting treatment for the residual tumors they were unable to remove during surgery.

For 30 years, Jerry was a self-employed contractor and enjoyed his career making a difference for his clients by working with integrity and utilizing his artistic abilities. He cannot drive due to having seizures, so he is unable to work right now. This greatly effects our family's cost of living. 

We are blessed with two extraordinary sons. Our first born  is 23 years old, working full time to put himself through on-line college courses, and our other son will be 14 in February.  Their father's diagnosis is tough on them.  

Prior to Jerry's diagnosis, he was an avid outdoorsman. He is most passionate about hiking and fishing and enjoys the simple pleasures of the outdoors. Jerry is a 46er having summitted all 46 high peaks of the Adirondack Mountains.  When he had a break from his busy work schedule, he enjoyed the Jersey Shore, deep sea fishing, and Florida's Gulf Coast.
