George's Life

Donation protected
We are trying to raise money for my son George to be able to take him away and to be able to get a bed alarm for him.
When george was a baby he was an identical twin that we lost, when it came to the birth with George there was a lot of complications in which he had a stroke in the womb which we only learned recently. when George was 3 he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and then at the age of 8 he was then diagnosed with epilepsy, George doesn't communicate well with children his age and he is very limited to what he can do on his own. After many hospital appointments and many different tablets we got told that he was down to be able to have brain surgery. unfortunately after the tests were done we was told that George wouldn't be allowed to have the brain surgery as it could leave him paralyzed or even lead him to dying. We have now been told that George could have an unsuspected sudden death due to his epilepsy which means that it could happen when he is out and about or when he is sleeping, which is why we need to get a bed alarm for him so it will be able to detect when he is having a seizure through the night.
George does have memory loss so we would like to start a memory book for him of everything he does just so he remembers, we want to be able to take him away to places that he would like to go and make memories for him. And the family too look back on . He is getting a vns fitted in Leeds to help with hes sezuires . On the 18th of May 2017George had his VNS fitted in which was a step down from brain surgery as that's not possible for George, he has now for wires up his neck and the VNS placed just near his heart. Today on the second of June 2017  he if getting the VNS switched on to hopefully help George. He's deals with everything so well and he carries on been the happy cheeky boy we know, even though George wishes he didn't have his cerebral palsy and his epilepsy so he could do stuff like we all could he still carries on through his day. It's a life changing and challenging thing for George and family and he just deserves to be happy for a 13 year old boy who is so limited to what he can do, we just want to see his face brighten up!❤
any sort of help would be so thankful from George and his family!!
